Download Mighty Remote for your computer

Install the agent on the computer you want to control. The iPhone app connects to it over your local network.

macOS

macOS 14 or later · .dmg · signed and notarized

Download for macOS

  1. Download the .dmg and open it.
  2. Drag Mighty to Applications, then open it.
  3. Grant Accessibility. Screen Recording is only needed for Desktop view.
  4. Pair from the iPhone app with the QR code or the 6-digit code.
  5. Mighty stays in the menu bar. Its menu is where you pair, pause and open settings.

Windows

  1. Run the installer. If SmartScreen stops it, choose More info → Run anyway.
  2. Mighty starts in the system tray. The first-run wizard shows how to keep its icon visible.
  3. Pair with the QR code or the 6-digit code.
  4. Elevated windows and the lock screen cannot be controlled; Mighty tells you when an event does not arrive.

Linux

Debian 13, Ubuntu 25.04 or later · X11 and Wayland · .deb · x86-64

Download .deb

  1. Install the package: sudo apt install ./mighty-linux-amd64.deb
  2. Open Mighty. On GNOME, KDE, Sway or Hyprland, Wayland may ask for RemoteDesktop access once.
  3. Pair with the QR code or the 6-digit code.
  4. Without a tray icon, the window is the main interface. mighty pair and mighty status work in a terminal.

Check before you install

  • iPhone or iPad on iOS 26 or later.
  • macOS 14+, Windows 10/11, or a supported Linux desktop.
  • Both devices on the same network. Guest Wi-Fi with client isolation will not work.
  • Wake-on-LAN needs the computer’s MAC address saved during pairing; Ethernet is more reliable than Wi-Fi.
