Terms of use

Last updated: November 2026

These terms apply to the Mighty Remote iPhone and iPad app, the Mighty desktop apps for macOS, Windows and Linux, and this website. They are offered by Iván José Martín García (“we”). By using them you accept these terms.

The apps

The iPhone and iPad app is licensed to you through the App Store under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula). These terms add to it; if they conflict, Apple’s agreement prevails.

The desktop apps are free. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use them on computers you own or are allowed to use. You may not sell, redistribute or modify them, or reverse engineer them except where the law allows it.

Trial, subscription and refunds

After your first pairing you get a free trial with no payment. When it ends, Mighty needs a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, at the prices shown in the App Store. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your Apple account settings, at least 24 hours before the end of the period.

Purchases, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. Family Sharing is enabled for both options.

Acceptable use

Use Mighty only to control computers that you own or have permission to control. Do not use it to access other people’s devices without their consent, to monitor anyone, or for anything unlawful.

Other services

Some optional features rely on services we do not control, such as iCloud, Tailscale or your network equipment. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for their availability.

Updates and changes

We may update the apps to fix problems, keep them secure or improve them. The desktop apps update themselves by default; you can turn this off. We may change or stop features.

Warranty and liability

We work hard to make Mighty reliable, but it is provided as it is, and we cannot promise it will always work without interruptions or errors, for example on every network or system.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes too.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and can bring a claim before its courts.
